Daddy Longlegs is a Russian rock n’ roll babe who grew up on t.A.T.u, piping hot borscht, and never taking the word нет (no) for an answer when it came to achieving her dreams. She began her movement journey at age 10 when she was enrolled in intensive ballet lessons and followed this passion through college, where she got a degree in dance. It was while in college that Daddy submerged herself into the sparkly underbelly of NYC nightlife after wanting more soul and sex appeal than what contemporary movement offered her. Around that time, in a stroke of pure luck Daddy’s friend asked her to fill in as a gogo dancer on their behalf, and ever since that fateful night of being covered in sweat-soaked dollar bills, she fell in love with the craft. 

Daddy has since studied at the NYC School of Burlesque and has danced for various NYC events and venues including Henrietta Hudson, House of Yes, Lucky 13 Saloon, Hot Rabbit, & Nurse Bettie. She has showcased her work in venues such as the Triskelion Arts Theater, Frederick Loewe Theater at Hunter College, and the Movement Research at the Judson Church. Daddy believes that there’s nothing better than a comedic performance with the added bonus of body-ody-ody and choreographs numbers that are playful, flirty, and full of surprises.

Daddy independently performs as both a drag king and queen and has begun studying fire-eating since arriving in LA.
