Born and raised in Madison, Alabama, Madame Lyoness is an NYC bass professional dancer specializing in jazz, heels, Latin, ballet, contemporary, tap, and musical theater. Just 3 days after earning her degree in Fashion at the University of North Alabama she moved to NYC to pursue a career in dance and fashion. 

She’s had professional dance training since the age of 6, but had her burlesque debut at Madame X in 2019. She continues her dance training and performs with dance and production companies throughout NYC. Madame Lyoness also owns her own dance-based cabaret and burlesque company called Lyoness NYC. She also exercises her love of fashion through working as a freelance wardrobe stylist.

Her biggest inspirations as a performer are Josephine Baker, Tina Turner, Donna Summer, and Beyonce! Madame Lyoness loves how dance, burlesque, costumes, and other art forms express her sparkle and joy, and she’s so honored be able to do that through Honey Burlesque — such powerful group of queer dancers!
